Supports cognitive health
Being a source of methyl groups, vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) has notable lipotropic properties, preventing fatty infiltration of the liver and boosting oxygen consumption by cells during both acute and chronic hypoxia. It plays a role in synthesising methionine and enhances the body's ability to accumulate protein, offering an anabolic effect. Moreover, it increases the immune system's reactivity and enhances the phagocytic activity of leukocytes. B12 may alleviate symptoms of Mild Cognitive Impairment, such as confusion. It also mitigates the risk of heart disease by reducing homocysteine levels, a factor linked to strokes. Furthermore, vitamin B12 contributes to melatonin production and may relieve nerve pain associated with diabetic neuropathy.

The grains are small, chewable, and quite crispy. They've got a lovely taste too! I purchased them to help prevent Mild Cognitive Impairment in my parents, as I've noticed my own brain function diminishes when low on B12. Although I haven't been taking them for long, I feel as though my tongue is improving. I’m eager to continue with this.

Enhances brain health
Vitamin B12 is essential for optimising the health of the brain, nervous, and circulatory systems. It aids in reducing fatigue, improving memory function, optimising sleep, and producing erythrocytes, while being involved in DNA synthesis. Furthermore, B12 supports the production of proteins and brain chemicals (neurotransmitters), helping to prevent depression. It enhances the functioning of nerve cells and lowers homocysteine levels, which are linked to an increased risk of Mild Cognitive Impairment and heart disease.
